Because if you are using it against an enemy, the enemy can and will hit you before it comes down on them, which is a fatal flaw. He does have some rapid magic against bosses, but the big delay brings him down for all other uses. That goes for every other character, too.Īt least this guy has a splash. It's for the main game mode, Castle Crashers. It has niche uses for Arena mode, but that's not what this tier list is for. This also applies to regular airborne enemies, too. And then the third one will be unharmed, which is a big flaw because it doesn't compensate for his only positive, which he can hit the Volcanic Dragon and the Evil Wizard while airborne. So for instance, a segment or two land on any enemies, only one or two of them will be hit. For Killer Beekeeper, he will only hit as many enemies as the number of segments that land on the enemies. If an Arrow Clone is in front of an enemy and they cast their splash on three enemies, they will hit all three. Say that you're an Arrow Clone with a Killer Beekeeper. Once a segment lands on an enemy, it just disappears and cannot hit any more enemies. In Killer Beekeeper's case, his splash actually is a projectile. You'll notice a common theme where the lower tiered the characters are, the worse their crowd control is, whereas the higher ones have better crowd control. Even if they doubled his healing, it would put him at high D Tier/mid C Tier at best. You can get his healing power to 19 points with his magic stat maxed, but like most splash attacks, you can use King's like 15 times from a full bar to get 285 health recovered, which is a bit more than two fruit/candy pieces (two and a half, approximately), but that means you're gonna have to do that four times in order to get back to full health, which is terrible because you're gonna have to wait two minutes in between waves if you need to get back to full health. It's healing, but it also doesn't make up for it. He doesn't have an offensive splash attack. Personally, I don't think it matters that he has a Fire elemental Magic Projectile because you're better off using Fire Demon or Orange Knight from there, and that sums up why Blacksmith is the complete worst out of any other character in the game. It makes him have worse DPS (Damage Per Second) than King. So for all intents and purposes, you can say that it only hits one time, which is horrible. His splash only hits like once on most bosses, he can hit up to a max of three times, but the positioning I'm still trying to figure out how to make it happen more and more. So that's why he has an abysmal splash and air projectile. ![]() Since the lead character is always after you no matter where you are, they will hit you at melee range, which is why using it in the air is more dangerous than using it on the ground. Not only that, they'll be knocked away by his Magic Projectile, and you need to hit the enemy that is directly in front of you to have a safe landing. Because when you have his projectile, it actually has more knockback, so your targets will be knocked over for a longer period of time, which is a significant difference. What's worse is that when you cast it in the air, it doesn't really make his landings safe. Enemies will fall in place when hit, sit there for like a second, and immediately get back up. This guy is the absolute worst character in the game. This tier list explains everything about each character's splash. Their differences are so significant, it can make playing through Insane Mode a joke with SS and S Tier characters, or struggling with the last few bosses on Normal Mode with FF and F Tier characters. In this submission, I'm going to be going over all the characters and their magic.
